"We come here all the time for our lunch date. Clean and cozy spot! Staffs are always friendly. Love their house made noodles and the fried chicken appetizer is my all time favorite."

I recently had the pleasure of dining at an incredible ramen restaurant, and I must say it was a truly five-star experience! From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately set the tone for a fantastic meal. The restaurant's attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the elegant decor to the friendly and attentive staff. The menu offered a wide variety of ramen options, each more tempting than the last, making it difficult to choose just one. However, I ultimately settled on the signature KitaKata ramen, and it was an absolute revelation. The broth was rich and creamy, packed with flavor that left me wanting more with e...
We were cruising around looking for places to eat dinner. We eat out a lot as we like to explore in hope of bumping into good restaurants. This place had a good first impression and a yummy first bite but after that it went downhill. Not just me but even my husband agreed. The taste of the broth started to get salty and no other taste I could identify to make me keep enjoying the dish. The noodles had no taste. Just the texture. There were 5 thin slices of pork belly and some veggies. That’s it. Plain salty. Even the after taste, just salty. Tasted like MSG and salt. After a few bites into the dishes, we were looking at each other and not sure if we were able to finish it. What happened to the...
This restaurant does not serve authentic Japanese ramen at all. The noodles are the kind you find in dry instant noodle packets, which are available for just a dime at any Asian grocery store. The soup is decent, but the noodles are terrible. I'm really surprised to see this at a Kitakata Ramen location, as Kitakata is among the most respected ramen chains in Japan. They would never allow any of their franchises to use dry noodles. If they were to learn about this, they would likely lose their license to use the Kitakata name. After just one bite, I couldn't eat any more. I hope the owner reads this review and switches to fresh noodles. I won't be returning.
This was our first time dining here, and we were amazed by how delicious the food was! I ordered the ABURI MISO RAMEN, and my initial impression was that it tasted incredible, though there was a strong aroma reminiscent of red wine. I'm not sure if red wine was part of the recipe, but I could definitely smell it. For appetizers, my husband ordered FRIED GYOZA and BAN NAI BUNS. The buns were my favorite; the pork was incredibly juicy, and the combination was perfect. I've downloaded pictures of all the dishes I mentioned. Reserve uma mesa agora
It’s just like the Lombard location. I chose this restaurant because they have a vegan option that many other ramen places don’t offer. We ordered one Vegan Spicy Miso Ramen, and I absolutely loved it. The flavor was perfect, and the portion was quite generous for one person. We also got two servings of Spicy Edamame, which were tasty as appetizers. However, I wasn't a fan of the Fried Peppers. Overall, the food is great. Surprisingly, they offer either vegetarian broth or pork broth, but no chicken broth.
After trying several ramen spots, I've settled on this place as my go-to. The ramen is incredibly delicious, with homemade noodles and generous slices of pork that far exceed what you find at other restaurants. The broth is also flavorful and satisfying. Additionally, if you visit, don't miss the fried chicken served over rice—it's amazing! I can't quite explain how they make it, but it outshines your favorite fast food chicken by a long shot!
The restaurant has a lovely ambiance. I tried the fried dumplings for the first time, and they were delicious. However, I wasn't a fan of the Spicy Miso Ramen, but that's on me since I had never had it before. It wasn’t spicy; it was just warm. Overall, I’d rate the food a 3 out of 5.
I've been visiting this restaurant for several years, and I've always had a fantastic experience. I consistently order the Spicy Miso Ramen in the large size. It’s enormous, so if you get it, don’t plan on having dinner later! Reserve uma mesa agora
