Klosterschänke Limburg

We were surprised by friends who had chosen the location. In the evening we had a cozy meal in the Limburg Monastery with a nice glass of wine and very good food. I had the sauerbraten with red cabbage and dumplings, which was really tasty! The wine goes with it too. The winemaker is friendly, attentive and not hectic, although she is solely responsible for the tables. The kitchen is not only satisfied with the skillful preparation of the food, but also with the taste and presentation of the food. All around recommended.

Rooms were well equipped and the mattress was great. Staff average friendly. Food: Breakfast was really good, dinner too. But I would have liked a little more vegetables/raw vegetables. Lunch was fine. Didn't always suit my taste and wasn't seasoned enough for me personally. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

Beautiful monastery ruins with a great atmosphere. You can also eat there, but we didn't use it. Atmosphere: 5
