Kokame Express - Reservar mesa

I typically have a cast-iron stomach and can usually eat anything without issue, but not this time. I ordered sushi from this restaurant in early July and it just didn't taste right. The tempura on the crispy salmon was strange and the overall dish didn't taste fresh. I couldn't even finish it. A few hours later, I was sick to my stomach and most likely had food poisoning. Now I have SIBO as a result. I strongly advise against eating here. There are many other restaurants in the city that offer much better quality food that won't leave you feeling ill. This was my first and last time dining here.

This restaurant is a great spot that I have been frequenting for years. I remember it used to be a hot dog place. The service is quick, the prices are reasonable, and it's within walking distance from my home. The spicy salmon dish is always a winner. I find it amusing when people leave one-star reviews, as I can imagine them coming in with the wrong attitude and being entitled. The restaurant has been around for a long time, so I suggest reading the five-star reviews to get a better idea of what to expect.

I ordered California Roll and Torched Roll via UberEats. The time between I ordered and the delivery was not even half an hour. I really liked the Torched Roll, however, the avocado in California Roll has black spots and I wasn't able to eat it. It's so sad because you can clearly see the black spots, and it's visible it all the 8pcs. Never gonna order again since it was a waste of money for the California Roll.

Kokame used to be one of the best late night sushi express in London around 3-4 years ago but recently, I just got to order again after a long time… and it was awful. Shrimps tempura that they used in their rolls were stale with aged old grease they used to deep fried which I could taste. Rice was soggy and mushy. Need to re-take a look at your quality. They were very rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend going here. You can find better sushi for a better price with better customer service in London.

This is one of my favorite sushi takeout places in downtown. The service is excellent and the sushi is both quick and fresh. I love it! ?

I had the salmon nigiri and the spicy salmon roll which had a nice crunch to it. Prices are reasonable and food came out fast.
