Kopita Authentic Mediterranean

Our first visit to Knoxville, Kopita was highly recommended by our friends and family, it was our first stop for an early dinner. I was completely satisfied with the menu variety. We were advised to ask for the chef special, which was venison chops. Honestly, I came for the vegetarian options and left with my mind blown, venison is my favorite protein! Which was cooked to perfection and seasoned well. It looked so appetizing that even the kids tried it. We started with the Israeli salad, baba ghanoush, hummus, falafel, and the beet salad. Well, this place is legit!! If you’re familiar with a Mediterranean cuisine, especially Israeli dishes flavors, and you know what to expect, you probably had some disappointments trying different places, but I can tell you that this place is a 100% bliss. All the salads were fresh and correctly seasoned. The falafel is one of the or THE best I ever had! And I had quite a few ? now the pita bread… OMG like a pillow or a cloud ready to accommodate all that goodness!!! and for the main course the kebab pita is not to be missed!!! Just go!!

I think this might be my favorite restaurant in all of Knoxville. The food, the atmosphere, the staff. All of it is just sublime. The food is absolutely delicious and SO flavorful. I find the reviews complaining about lack of spices and flavor to be ridiculous and honestly laughable. The food here is consistently good. Every single time it is delectable. The staff is all wonderful and the owner is a joy. Every time someone I know comes from out of town I take them here because I know it will be good. KoPita is a treat in this community.

The staff was great and the best part of the meal was the tea service. Food was VERY bland. Mostly seasoned with just salt. Not very much middle eastern spices used. Chicken shawarma was just salt and a bit of pepper. The food is not authentic. Where’s the cardamom, sumac, clove etc? Luckily the staff was very very friendly and it was an alright lunch date. The food is amazing, especially the babaganoush and the kebab pita. Service had zero personality, very robotic. There is an unaffiliated bar on site for alcoholic drinks, separate transaction. The patio balcony is an enjoyable spot to eat if the weather is nice, I found the interior too cold and sterile. The two items I specifically mentioned were so good I'll be back for them.

Amazing staff, extremely friendly and welcoming of our table. Went above and beyond with their service. The food was spectacularly delicious!We had the kefta pita and had leftovers! Definitely try the baklava dessert, it’s minimal but a good palate cleanser. Perfect to get just a small amount of sweetness to satisfy.

I have eaten here 4 times and the food is really good. You can feel pleasure while eating and it’s kind of addictive. The only thing I can complain is that some times they don’t include all the ingredients as listed on their menu. E.g., missing stuff on a shawarma ordered in different days.

Fresh and flavorful food at really great prices. There are lots of great vegetarian options, but also good meet options as well. The chicken schnitzel meal is an amazing deal at $20. Very nice restaurant with healthy options to be inside a hotel. Reserve uma mesa agora
