Korbinian Hütte lies at 1200 metres up the Kranzberg mountainside, accessible either as a ski-in mountain café in the ski season, or an hour's walk up from Mittenwald when it's not snowy. We've been coming back for several years, mainly in the winter. The staff are friendly, service effective, and the menu comprises warming lunchtime meal offers as well as cakes, hot and cold drinks. The view from the terrace over Mittenwald and towards the Karwendel is fantastic. There is also guest accommodation. Looking forward to returning!

Friendly service, a good choice of Bavarian dishes and amazing views. We walked up the well signposted mountain to this restaurant and sat on the terrace admiring the stunning views. There is an indoor restaurant for cooler days. The menu offers regional dishes for lunch as well as coffee and cakes in the morning and afternoon.

On a sunny winter day. After going up to the Kranzberg. What could be better than sitting at a table, in the sun, the snow-covered view of the mountains. Staff friendly and although a limited selection of food, it was good. Worth a visit.

Good food, friendly service and beautiful views of Mittenwald. It takes about a 30-minute walk from the Kranzberg-Seilbahn valley station.

A great place for a lunch after a hike to the mountain or after skiing. Great view also, definitely the effort to get this mountain
