I love this noodle house. Since a few years back to try a whim about a random Google search for new types of food. I've managed to go back at least once a month since. The couple who owns and runs the place is totally sweet and remembers me every time. She even helps me learn something Korean so I can thank you. I personally love the Jam Bong soup. Spicy noodle soup, which is absolutely perfect on a windy day. I always recommend this place to my friends. My only complaint is that they are closed on Mondays, which is my usual day of work.

Love this restaurant! They serve tea (not water) when you arrive, so don't be perturbed, it is not funky tasting water as your initial thoughts could be. Prices are good and they give you plenty for what you pay for. I've read this is one of the top places to get ja-jang-myun in philly, while I have not tasted all of what Philly has to offer, it is just delicious. Some recommendations from what friends and I have eaten; Jajangmyun, Jam Bong, Kampungi, Omlet Rice just to start. One of my favorite restaurants to go to.

Pros: The food is cheap, tasty and comes in huge portions. It's also authentic, as I saw a ton of older Korean people walking down there. Recommend the black bean noodles and sweet and acidic chicken comb for the first time. Con: service can slow during busier hours because they only work one person as waiter and hostess and busboy (or busgirl) at the same time. It's not enough to knock the score. TLDR: Great place to check out.

I absolutely adore this restaurant! The owners are wonderful and the food is fantastic, with generous portions. They make the best jjampong in town, and there are many Korean restaurants to choose from. The mandu and tangsuyuk are also delicious. And don't forget to try the Jajangmyeon, it's mouthwatering. I highly recommend dining here, the prices are great too.
