Kornplatz - Reservar uma mesa

We stayed for 3 days in Chur and had dinner in 3 restaurants: Obelisco, Zum Stern and Zum Kornplatz. The latter was definitely the best of the 3. In fact, it stood out from the other 2 in that Zum Kornplatz serves excellent and inventive food without overdoing it. While both Obelisco and Zum Stern were pretty ok, they were not as outstanding as Zum Kornplatz.On top:- a very good wine selection- exquisite little delicacies coming with the coffee - an extremely friendly lady of the house served us discretely- clean and cosy- a nice terrace on the square.We were the only guests that Wednesday evening and wondered why not more people had discovered this little secret yet.We would go back for sur...

This restaurant has some of the most delicious food in Switzerland. Everything is homemade, beautifully presented, and delicious. The chef, Klaus Blumel, greets each dinner. My husband and neighbor travel four hours from Geneva in the fall when game is on the menu. They swear that it is the best they have had anywhere. Even vegetarians will find enough tasty choices to make this a worthwhile stop!

My husband and I wanted a real Swiss dinner OH what a treat the soup Fall mushrooms and a cranberry cream was the best We had ever tasted ,the main was veal schnitzel with fall veg was outstanding,Claudia served us and very friendly ,beautiful meal...,not to be forgotten .Thanks to Tripadvisor

This was about the fourth time I ate in this restaurant and every time the food was exquisite. However, if you are not one of the first to order, it might take a while until are served. Taking time is recommended, but it is absolutely worthwhile

Switzerland has just been rated the most expensive country in the world. So don't expect bargains, and this restaurant definitely is not! But it is great! One of the best!
