Last man eating... In the area picking up something from a customer and options for a bite was dwindling down. Finally decided for a revisit to this place which I haven't been to for years. Inside is one of those smaller cozy place; clean, typical and nothing too fancy. I was glad the server seated me on a bigger table instead one of those midget size ones. Absolute top Japanese restaurant not in downtown Vancouver. Friendly staff and a Innovative dinner menu with a few unique dishes. Also, a fun dim sum lunch menu for smaller sampler sizes. After Fuji Sushi shut down years ago, no Japanese restaurant in the port co Coquitlam area is any good to be honest until we found this place. On to the food. Kosho Sushi has the best... and I mean, THE BEST sushi in Port Coquitlam/Coquitlam area. The fish is fresh and tasty, and I love their specialty rolls as well. Lemon tuna roll is to DIE for (warning: contains pine nuts!!! . Not many people seem to think that it 's worth it to drive out to the 'burbs for sushi, but this place is 1000% worth the drive. It 's a cozy, homey, nondescript sushi place, but it 's just so fantastic. Frank the chef is incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming, a true culinary genius, seriously. Fresh sushi, very friendly service that twice I went to this restaurant, the chef who is also the owner of the restaurant took the time to chat with us as well as other customers. A hidden gem with creative and authentic Japanese dishes. Better yet, the dishes are not over priced. In my opinion, everyone should visit this restaurant at least once.

Went to Kosho with my hubby for Taste of the Tri Cities, everything was amazing. Kosho food is always a taste treat and beautifully presented; as always service is top notch. A definite must try!
