This restaurant is located inside the New Haven food hall, where you'll find plenty of seating in a bright and clean atmosphere. I waited about 10 to 15 minutes for my food to be prepared. The Lao BBQ Mix plate offers a great variety of all available meats, allowing you to sample a little bit of everything. The chicken breast was sweet, tender, and juicy, while the large spare rib came off the bone effortlessly—definitely my favorite protein here! We've never had Lao food, but it's Asian food, so I know it'll be close to what we know. Since we've been here a few times since they opened, we have tried a few things in their menu. What stood out for me is the sausage and with the sticky rice. I also love their sauces. It's inside Rodeo X, in the New Haven Marketplace plaza. The place is fast food style with Rodeo X seems to be the main scene(mostly for alcohol) the place can be packed and loud on weeknights with music and almost a party scene.

Update on 10-16-22: I received a complimentary chicken plate through Messenger, and the cashiers were extremely helpful during the process. It was quick and hassle-free. I absolutely loved the crispy, flavorful skin on the chicken thighs. It would be great if they included a small salad with the rice. The staff called my name quite loudly, even though I was only about 10 feet away, which was amusing. Overall, I had a wonderful experience this time, so I’m giving it a four-star rating!

One of the best Asian-style BBQ restaurants I've ever visited! I ordered the mixed BBQ plate today, and we’re definitely fans, especially of the hawn and ribs! My child loves it too. The sausage links are delicious, boasting a unique combination of meaty and spicy flavors. If you opt for rice, definitely choose the sticky rice, as it has an excellent texture and taste. The BBQ plate is reasonably priced and comes with generous portions that surpass expectations. It's truly a fantastic hidden gem!

The hotel in Rodeo X offers ample parking space. It's a fantastic introduction to Lao cuisine, with delicious food, excellent service, and reasonable prices. While all meals are packaged for takeout, there are also numerous free seating options available. Are they safe and accommodating?

I gave this place a shot, and boy doesn't regret it. The Lao pork ribs are very delicious. The combination of sauces they used met the place. I'd definitely go back. Note: This place is actually located in Rodeo X. It is not a brick and motor bearing.
