We leave the Hotel Krone with mixed feelings. With its rustic charm and central location in Pfullendorf's old town (including its own parking space , the long established hotel actually has potential. The traditional and very beautiful (half timbered house welcomes its guests after the main entrance with a small reception, the restaurant and a bar (which was closed at the time . There is no elevator; you can reach the upper floors via wide, easily accessible stairs with the guest rooms of different sizes and furnishings (we had booked three rooms . I got Maultaschen from there. Unfortunately, they no longer have anything to do with the world-class Maultaschen of yesteryear. Quite oversalted, absolutely no taste highlight. There are much better Maultaschen. Clearly too expensive for that. Card payment is not possible. A receipt will not be issued either. Many greetings to the tax office.

Even if you request a receipt for payment for the overnight stay (which was only possible in cash! you will not receive any receipt. Very dubious! We stayed in the Krone for one night while passing through. My single room was from the 60s and the mattress was correspondingly bad. Super nice modern hotel, we've been regular guests there for 5 years. Everything is clean, great restaurant in a great location. The birthday won't be forgotten either. Delicious breakfast buffet. Rooms: Modern and new. Food drinks: Great menu always up to date with the season. Rooms: 5 Service: 5
