Kumper's Bar Restaurant

Restaurant in front of the bar. If you want to eat, you can be a bit insecure from the bar atmosphere when entering the bar restaurant. In the back rooms, however, the tables were lovingly and professionally covered for a good meal. The service was very friendly and attentive; such a thing is really rare. In addition to the regular seasonal menu, there were two daily dishes written with chalk on two tables. We had plums and a real Wiener Schnitzel. Both were of very good quality (no star kitchens, but clearly lifted out of normal). In addition to some delicious beers from the barrel, the range of spirits is excellent: you can certainly not get drunk. We'll be back.

I was there with my family, which I haven't seen for a long time to make the evening sound with spices and potions. I'm sorry. Two employees with long hair and four tables with which both were overwhelmed. After 30 minutes waiting time and half beverage order we also received the menus on our note. Both employees didn't know what they did, let them know their own drinks and food. Because that was not enough, half of the dishes were no longer available! It can't happen! No good service, unknown staff and long waiting times for food and drink! Never again.

After spending some time on the “Hansemarkt”, an event with the Middle Ages flair, we left the evening in the Kümpers. After welcoming the host we were immediately and very nicely supplied with drinks. After that, they were constantly asked for further wishes and so she also worked with the delay. We didn't. The atmosphere is very cozy. One has the impression that the institution (incl. piano) was very lovingly selected. Most operations were on the counter. Many guests had the impression that they were regular guests. A good sign.

Friday in the evening it is always quite full; so best to reserve. Food was really good, this Braumeisterschnitzel with roast potatoes was wonderful. The meat was very tender, the amount has made absolutely full. Also the noodles with the fillet steak strips were great. A good evening with friends. We paid €35 for the two dishes with drinks. You can't **** with it! And the ambience is great; beautiful that there is such a cool location in cames!

We haven't eaten yet. But the food we saw was very good. We sat at the counter all night and had fun with the young man behind the counter.
