My husband and I ate here on our second to last night on our week and a half in Germany. It was hands down our best meal we had while in the country. We started with the venison carpaccio, which was incredible. It came with...very lightly cooked mushrooms of several varieties and delicious fresh greens. Everything about it was perfect, with a wonderful mix of textures and flavors. I got wild boar steaks, which were delectable! Again, the flavors just worked wonderfully together. My husband loved his meal too, although the menu was in German and we 're not quite sure what it was other than it had venison! I gather this is where the locals go for a special occasion meal. The waitress was a little impatient when we asked what beer they had which didn't taste too bitter. When it was served it was too bitter for our taste. Rather than trying...to find a salutation the beer was just taken away without so much of an apology. The salad that came with the Spaetzle was dripping in dressing, too much for my liking. The Spaetzle themselves were nice. As was the fish with asparagus and potatoes. The portions were too big for us to consider desert.

we went to dinner on recommendation of our host. that was nice to eat. we were quickly served, but it was not there that we went to the counter to pay our bill. we were not offered the dessert menu or...more drinks after our main meal. the restaurant was full, but we felt neglected when we did not speak German (menu was in German, but the waitress helped us translate.) our neighboring German diners were offered dessert menus that got their bills (they came to us in a similar time.)

Sind unangemeldet vorbei gegangen und hatten Glück. Vorab, besser reservieren. Die freundlichen Damen waren überaus freundlich und haben uns einen Tisch gegeben. Essen und der Service waren top. Delicious restaurant. The dishes are served very very generously and the dishes are tasty. The price is very reasonable considering the plates. Waren heute dort, angefangen bei der Bedienung, super, merkt sich alles ohne aufschreiben oder so, ist super freundlich und sehr nett, weiter zu Essen, einfach super . Alles in allem Super. Preis, Leistung passt auch, für das was ich bekomme (auch der Service), vollkommen OK!!! Wir sehen uns wieder

great food! great portions. authentic German restaurant. you can't go wrong here. the soup was unbelievable, this is only seasonal. one of us had black medallions with homemade cheese spaetzel and one of us had steak that was delicious.

the food, service and ambiente were all beautiful. we could sit on the terrace on a beautiful evening. he made new friends the next table and had a great night. Reserve uma mesa agora

we went to the copper pan to celebrate a birthday. everything from the suppe to dessert was fresh and delicious! the service was also excellent.

This place is cozy like if you were in your parents house, the staff is polite and the food is great specially the salmon.
