My husband and I ate here on our second to last night on our week and a half in Germany. It was hands down our best meal we had while in the country. We started with the venison carpaccio, which was incredible. It came with...very lightly cooked mushrooms of several varieties and delicious fresh greens. Everything about it was perfect, with a wonderful mix of textures and flavors. I got wild boar steaks, which were delectable! Again, the flavors just worked wonderfully together. we went to dinner on recommendation of our host. that was nice to eat. we were quickly served, but it was not there that we went to the counter to pay our bill. we were not offered the dessert menu or...more drinks after our main meal. the restaurant was full, but we felt neglected when we did not speak German (menu was in German, but the waitress helped us translate.) our neighboring German diners were offered dessert menus that got their bills (they came to us in a similar time.)

the food, service and ambiente were all beautiful. we could sit on the terrace on a beautiful evening. he made new friends the next table and had a great night.

we went to the copper pan to celebrate a birthday. everything from the suppe to dessert was fresh and delicious! the service was also excellent.

This place is cozy like if you were in your parents house, the staff is polite and the food is great specially the salmon.
