We love coming to KUU, because the food is always amazing. Sure, it's a bit pricey, but it's a high end restaurant that is owned and run by the chef. Everything tasted great from the sous vide wagyu to the softshell crab to the scallops to the makimono. My son, who can be a little finicky, completely demolished the wagyu and asparagus, even fully partaking of the fig-based sauce, and he never eats sauces or puts dressing on his salads. My wife ordered the roasted brussel sprouts, which were served with a honey sauce that cut the usual bitterness of the sprouts to the point where I would actually order them for myself, and I really don't like brussel sprouts. Came for my birthday, party of 8 and it was delicious as always. Had a mushroom rice of sorts and it was to die for. Our service is always above par for Houston and freshest of ingredients as well.
