There is something sad about a restaurant where the food is so yummy you want to fall on the ground, but the service is so old school you want to scream from the rooftops. It is not clear to me if the St Pauli girl outfits actually make the staff think they are back in the Middle Ages, but suffice it to say the Bagatelle approach to service is more 1320 than 2020. First, the good stuff: the magnificent Cote de Boeuf (roast beef) with Bearnaise and the delicious foie gras were amazing. The tuna tartare and summer salad got rave reviews from our group. Most, and almost all, of the menu is very common. I strongly propose to go here for a wine/cheese night, as the country's largest wine selection does not matter after I am unable to have a good vote with food. Prices are not to say very high, which drives the price/performance rating on the ground. Due to the fact, we were condemned to eat twice in this restaurant, which was definitely a nice set that allowed us to taste more dishes from the menu. There is a good selection of meat, vegetarian and seafood dishes and we enjoyed everything we tasted with a thumb for the delicious and magnificently prepared longustines. Products are of the highest quality, perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. You need to be prepared for a very classic offer, but no unlikely associations, Asian influences or fusion, whatever in this restaurant, only classic, mostly French with a touch of Mediterranean, kitchen. Absolutely great lunch experience. Super friendly service, accomodated many extra wishes and served amazing food great wine list with a lot of excellent choice One of the best carvings I had in a while amazing views over the valley and Gstaad Very cozy dining room and a good amount during lunch. We went there last week and I ordered the calf with black truffles, was really delicious!! The waiters were so friendly and the views are also beautiful!!
