My wife and I were meeting an old school friend of mine and his wife in Toulouse and were looking for a restaurant outside the centre of the city. I chose La Bonne Auberge purely from the TripAdvisor reviews I had seen. I was not disappointed. We sat outside on their terrace under huge umbrellas and ordered aperitifs. Cherry tomatoes and mozzarella on cocktail sticks came, as well.as olives The menu had plenty of choice and a good range of price options, from the three course menu du jour at 19.50€ to la carte, where three courses would come to over 50€. We have known and liked this restaurant for at least 12 years. During all this time they have produced wonderful food with an ambience and people to match. The menus are always developing and the little extras are always a suprise. To maintain all this over years is an extremely difficult task and rarely achieved. If anywhere near don't hesitate you will not be dissapointed.
We were here to celebrate a birthday and sat out on the terrace. In the middle of a heat wave (38 degrees the team produced and served a great meal. Although the heat must have been a problem there was no sign of this just the normal excellent food, service, wine and welcome. Merci a la equip!
