La Cave - Reservar uma mesa

we visited in september 2018 as two pairs. the room is beautiful, very romantic and unique. the food was excellent as I remember, and the wee was also beautiful. I was the only one in our group who spoke French, and it is very...rusty, especially with some of the elements on la cave 's menu. our waiter was of course French. a person in our party, frustrated, said, can they get someone who speaks English? because she had difficulty ordering. I was destroyed, but the waiter was very gracious. my only complaining is that it seems that I have to call in advance for reservations, and we are in the usa and I now have no international mobile phone plan. I wish we could make a reservation at the end...

this was the best meal I had in over a year. my favorite food gras to begin, followed by the most incredible côte de bœuf of my life. perfectly cooked and carved tableside. it had a fiery cheek on the supposed crust. that reminded me of bbq. they can only get this taste with an open flame. I don't even remember the specialties of my chocolate dessert because my wife had a soufflé, which tasted like cricket cake. Moreover, we had an amazing bottle of wine that was only 26€. the best value in france and I have not even mentioned the great atmosphere of being in the cavity not the excellent service. I would make a return trip from paris to eat in la cave.

my man and I have sung during a trip to the Loire Valley in la cave and we fell in love with each other. eating, the ambiente and the local wine all united for an unforgettable evening. would highly recommend the côte de bœuf, which is...massive (for two reserved) and extremely high quality and well cooked. the touraine rouge wein we had there is very affordable, but also one of our favorite red ones we tried.

visiting the Loire Valley and not stopping here would be a mistake. the duck breast was perfectly sent, the baked chicks broke hot in a sauce of tomato, weeping and a bit saw, and the chocolate lava cake finished the meal perfectly. add a generous pouring of their own wein, and this memory will be happily dwelling.

A very unique restaurant built inside a cave.The food was mediocre. You can't be in that restaurant very much because the humidity is huge and the smell of mold in the house.
