La Cloche - Reservar uma mesa

Another year prior my Birthday another visit to the restaurant la Cloche in Obernai prior The Resham Firiri Tour 2017 with Exploring Nepal. A wonderful setting with a 14th Century Dinning Room with friends to share a traditional Alsatian Meal. Excellent Service and delicious Tartes Flambées in a cosy atmosphere. Enjoying the restaurant since years and sharing a globettrotting passion with the staff the Happy Sharing Company always delighted to visit and taste the talents of the chef. Sechuan Pepper with Tome du Ried cheese Flammenkuechen is a must try for an appetizer or meal. Wether Baeckeoffe,Choucroute or Fleischkneppfle we would recommend the Spätzle with Munster Sauce. Enjoyed a traditional Choucroute, Cordon Bleu and a fabulous Tarte Flambé with goat cheese/bacon. Everything was as-expected, with efficient and congenial waitstaff. The hot, fudgy chocolat chaud dessert (with salted caramel ice cream) was shared by my daughter and I. She would give that 5-stars alone. I would say the restaurant is more 3.5 stars but because of the other meals I saw being served, our lovely dessert, and pleasant efficient staff, I've rounded-up to a 4. Would return again because we left with a such good feeling about our evening.

Out of the blue, my colleagues and I walked the charming streets of Obernai. As we were building ourselves up to an important appetite, we came across La Cloche restaurant. Great Alsace food, service, and the desserts are absolutely mind boggling ! Don't hesitate, quality and reasonable price are within this restaurants' reach.

Enjoyed the Munster flamkuchen- tasty! Good service in traditional surroundings- considering it's located in a tourist town the inability of local Resturant staff to converse in English is astounding!

Good service at this busy, good value restaurant in Obernai. A good place to try a gallette and the desserts are heavenly - try their French cheesecake.
