La Costa - Reservar uma mesa

La Costa calls itself an International Social Club and last night it lived up to its name. I went with my wife and a friend to one of their special evenings. My wife goes to Aquagym with the wife of the owner. Last night was Asturias Beans with clams and a drink for €10 euros. There were plenty of waiters and service was attentive. The beans with clams were good and hit, just what you need on a cool night. The wine was good too, a white from Rueda, I had to have a few glasses to check. The clientele were and international group and the atmosphere was fun. It’s simple cooking but well done with good ingredients. They do Paella one day a week at lunchtime which my wife has enjoyed.

This was once Costa’s and now Elaina is the new owner. She is a lovely young woman with lots of determination to make her bar/restaurant a success. In a short time she has revamped the place and it’s a big improvement. Apart from the amazing view every Thursday at 13.30 is Paella for 6 Euros a generous portion. We have not been there in the evening but I think it becomes more of a bar with cocktails and live music. I absolutely love it and highly recommend it.

Lovely bar near the Allegro Isora, overlooking La Gomera. Wonderful place to watch the stunning sunsets. Very friendly young owners, Ruben and Jessi. Can't do enough for you. Great tapas, and wonderful Paella on Thursdays. Highly recommended.

This bar is now under new ownership with the lovely Elaina. She has redecorated, added outside seating. Very friendly and well worth a visit. She has renamed it The View which it certainly has. Good luck and see you soon.

Called here nearly every day of our two weeks holiday,warm friendly staff mainly family .Reasonable prices .Good quality products ,great views .
