We came for lunch with a small group of customers from Asia. This was a technical seminar, so no time to hover, the food was great, the fact that there is a buffet of starters and desserts made the lunch quick and good, the customers were really happy with the quality of food, the fact that they could taste many different things encourage them to try, and the service was great as always. Gerard told us the story of the place, the forniture/windows he has left untouched for decades... The customers took a picture of themselves in such a picturesque restaurant, with a big wine bottle that Gerard has on the bar counter. That have kept a great souvenir of the visit.
