This was amazing value special menu for the week was 22.50 euros including aperitif wine. We chose: scallops 3 (with corals) in a nice watercress sauce; chicken breast fillet in Maroilles sauce (a local classic) with beautiful crisp topped mash in a potato skin, brussels sprouts, lots of young salad leaves; interestingly boozy puds were tiramisu with rhubarb, ice cream with local genievre. It was all well made good fresh food if not high gastronomy. Welcome lovely, service charming; room is very large with a nice open fire (sit near on nasty cold day). Weak points bread slices a bit dry (butter not offered), coffee a bit cool but came in pot so got refills. Might ask if espresso available ne...
