La fontaine - Reservar uma mesa

I see that there is a wide range of opinions about this restaurant. For us it was great. As many do we chose the Acropole Hotel for our overnight stay partly because it has a restaurant next door and it was a good decision. The lady proprietor/waitress was very welcoming and helpful - her English being much better than my French, especially on day 1 of our holiday. The buffet was huge, very varied and very tasty; our mains of Raie and Lamb Gigot were delicious but the deserts didn't quite live up to the previous courses which is why I gave a Very Good rather than an Excellent rating. Pleasantly surprised. Staff enthusiastic and happy. Good food, we all had the set menus. Not excellent, but good value.House red wine acceptable. Quantity sufficient. We noted that this restaurant did not feature on the trip advisor rankings, but decided that alternative taxi fares might not be cost effective.Thanks to all for a great night out- our first night in France this year. Would have liked to have been offered an English menu.

Malgré sa situation dans une zone commerciale extérieure à Bernay, La Fontaine est un restaurant très agréable avec un intérieur au décor soigné et une terrasse close donnant sur un carré de verdure qui permet de s'imaginer très loin de la zone commerciale. Le buffet de hors-d'oeuvre à volonté est un point fort de ce restaurant dont les autres plats sont généreusement servis.

Correcte maaltijd genoten met menu aan 24 €. Vlotte bediening. Ideaal voor wie graag een glaasje wijndrinkt en daarna niet meer met de wagen wil rijden.
