La Grand'Roche - Reservar uma mesa

Ate with the family while on holiday in Bretignolles. Nice amuse-bouche and generally good starters (mussels, fish soup etc. good). Mains very mixed. Skate wing (seemed to be both wings of a very small skate) was very poor and came with various odd vegetables. Fish stew a bit dull - just salmon and cod in a creamy sauce. Sardines looked ok. Steak apparently quite good. Puddings better - brownies especially good. Views lovely. Staff a bit slack - high staff to diners ratio but not very attentive.

This restaurant was recommended to us and certainly lived up to the recommendation. We loved it so much we have taken two lots of friends there in the last week. The food is amazing with a great choice of food and lovely wine. Between us we must have tried most of the menu and cannot fault anything. All the staff were very attentive, cheerful and welcoming. Would thoroughly recommend.

We had a meal here of with two eating of the 27 euro and one of the 39 euro menus.The starters were lovely and main meals nice (steak was a little tough)The puddings were good. We would return but would all eat of the cheaper menu staff were friendly and helpful

The food was very good, we returned for a second dinner, although service for Sunday lunch had been slow. Service on the Dinner was even worse, the wait staff were pleasant, not their fault, just understaffed, owner should note. Lovely sea views.

Nice fish soup, but stringy beans accompanying main. Leisurely service. Good view from the veranda out across the ocean but interrupted by traffic on the road.
