La Grappa - Reservar uma mesa

On Saturday it turned out once again that we had to eat out-handed, at home there was a garden party of the son and there are present parents “peinlich”. A little late with booking and with the restriction “we want to sit outside” the first two reservation attempts proved to be riveting everything complet. The third attempt was then successful. After I had put the restaurant La Grappa in Schwelm on my list anyway, and a colleague of critics had warmed my heart, it was by no means an emergency solution. Parking in front of the front door is not possible, as the place is located in the pedestrian area of the Schwelmer Old Town, beautifully surrounded by old slew timbered half-timbered houses....

This is one of many italian restaurants in Schwelm, all revolving around the old centre... would need to try the other for comparison. The room is cosy and the atmosphere is lively: several families with kids, which I normally see as a sign of friendliness. The food is good quality: a nice variety of the usual antipasti and a lovely tris of bruschette, after which we ordered a vegetarian lasagna and a bistecca alla pizzaiola. Both were nice, but lacked the wow factor. The lasagna was a bit 'slim' on the veggies. I would say, go there, make up your own mind. Will it become my favourite? No. Would I go again: yes, when I need a change from the Wuppertal offer.

this is one of many Italian restaurants in Schwelm, all walking around the old center. the other would have to try to compare. the room is cozy and the atmosphere is alive: several families with children, which I usually see as a sign of ease. the food is a good quality: a beautiful variety of usual antipasti and a beautiful tris of brunette, after which we ordered a vegetarian lasagne and a bistecca alla pizzaiola. both were nice, but the wow factor was missing. the lasagne was a bit slim on the veggies. I'd say they go there, they're thinking. will it be my favorite? No. I would go back: yes if I needed a change from the wuppertal offer.

great hospitality as they would expect. antipasti sortiment recommended. a small note: some variations in particular would make it even better.

Stick to pizzas and fish foodz without fins :) Nice atmosphere.
