We had a fantastic lunch here between champagne tastings. Christophe personally welcomed us (and every other guest), making us feel welcome. Our chosen bottle of grower champagne appeared almost instantaneously. The wood fire of the open grill in the restaurant was pleasant but not overwhelming. For starters, the oysters were reportedly fabulous and the scallop carpaccio was delicious. As for main courses, the salads, grilled suckling pig, and sea bass were all delicious examples of the simple perfection of french cuisine. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. Thank goodness for our hotel making a reservation weeks in advance, since there was not a single empty table in the restaurant. For the qu...
