La Grille St-Germain

Strolling through the lanes of Saint Germain on August 12th we came across this spot and decided to stop for a snack. We ordered a french onion soup and an order of Guacamole tortillas. Although the service was pleasant, the food was absolutely horrible. The french onion soup was sour and tasted like it was made with vinegar. The guacamole was not fresh and the tortillas chips were stale. Within minutes we asked for the bill and left to go someplace else for a snack. It was the worse place we visited during our five day visit in Paris.

paid 10 euros for a strawberry mojito, no strawberries, just syrop with ice cubes. also ordered planche antipasta, costs 25€ and we got canned food still in the can!!! the tortilla chips were also old and the grilled vegetables were out of a jar, nothing grilled about it.

We ate here several times in one week, always enjoyable, good service, and tasty meals. Especially recommend the salmon and cod dishes. Be happy in this lively spot.
