La Gua Gua - Reservar uma mesa

Went in with my friends, because we saw the good reviews, and it was right in front of the beach, and close to the apartment we were staying in. I have to say, the view and the atmosphere was great. We liked it. But the food was standard and some of the fish didn 't seem the be fresh. For us the food wasn 't great. They don 't even make their own alioli sauce (garlic sauce), and you 'd be expecting that a restaurant like this would make their own sauce, but no, they served a tin of sauce made by some brand there, that it wasn 't great. We didn 't feel anything was special! The waiters at first were good, but after a while they forgot about us. We try calling them many times to order desserts...

We have just visited this one wonderful restaurant, I have traveled all over the world and experience good and bad restaurants and I love the emotional experience of this place. The owner whose parents originally started this place is so in cinque with the running of it speaks volumes. The food was exemplary but the service and care in which I t was delivered sets this place aside ! I look forward to my next experience

We went in the evening having booked a table we asked for a beach front table and even though it was a five setting table they were happy for us to use it. Staff were so friendly and helpful couldn’t do enough for us. Food was excellent as was the wine it was poring with rain as we left and the even provided my wife with an adapted bin bag to keep her dry!

This restaurant is on the beach at Playa Canyelles, just north of Roses. An absolutely beautiful setting right on the beach. The food is excellent and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. A great place for dinner as the sun sets.

Eaten here twice in a week. Both times all the family happy with the food. Friendly service. Nicely cooked food with a lovely view of the small bay. Able to accommodate us both times without reservation.
