I don't know where all the good reviews are coming from. 1. You can't order just tacos without rice and beans, you have to pay for the whole meal, but I could live with that. 2. The meat was not fresh and tough; out of the 3 tacos, I only enjoyed one. 3. I asked for a regular sized drink, but I got a larger one and had to pay for it because I drank it, but I've never been here before, so I don't know if that's the regular size or not; why should I pay for the server's mistake? 4. The bills are written in such a way that you can't tell anything. On the plus side the service nice people and large portions, but what's the point of large portions if the food is old and tasteless? Excellent food. Best Mexican restaurant I found in this area. Only negative is finding parking in this srip mall but we've always found the spot even if it was the last one. All things considered I give this place four stars out of five.

I moved to Chicago from Los Angeles 40 yrs ago and this is one of the best Mexican restaurant they have around. I love Mexican food and this is the most authentic and delicious I have eaten in the Chicago area, you have to try.

The service was great. The food was ok. The spinach enchiladas had too much sauce and not enough spinach and cheese. The tostadas were a little soggy and you had to eat them with a fork. The atmosphere needs a little updating.
