Her taste reminded me of old memories. My mother made the same kind of flan, I almost had tears in my eyes. I highly recommend this facility. For my part, I was conquered. The staff is more than pleasant and attentive to your wishes.

There were five of us, 4 adults and a child. We were hungry. It was 1:45 pm on a Sunday We were in Verdun, France. We were dressed okay, no ugly T-shirts. We stopped at 5 (five) restaurants and received 5 (five) "no"s. It was looking like a meal at Le McDonalds. Then we stopped at La Halte Gourmande. It is primarily a coffee and tea shop, but they had sandwiches and quiche that could be microwaved. Most importantly a very pleasant young lady said "Oui" and we sat down and enjoyed ourselves. The food was excellent and tasted better because of the friendly comfortable atmosphere. Merci.

We enjoyed pain au chocolate and almond croissants here for breakfast. Delicious. The coffee was great as well. The lady serving us was absolutely charming.
