La Laguna Mariscos Sushi

Absolutely wonderful staff! Our waitress did not speak English but, contrary to other reviewers experience, she was extremely attentive and able to understand us and do her job. I did however manage to confuse the staff by asking for a sushi roll with only avocado, rice, and seaweed. It was pretty fun feeling like the only vegetarian in McAllen and, after understanding what I was asking, the staff was very accommodating albeit curious. The starter salsas, pepper sauce that comes with the sushi, and everyones meal tasted and looked great. A friendly place to stop by

Visited with my wife after a recommendation from a friend, and no complaints! My wife and I shared a fried snapper and shrimp skewers. Both dishes were really good, and we will be back. Our server was really attentive and helpful when asked about a few dishes.

Ordered the Mojarra Mexicana, excellent plate!!! Very delicious and well cooked. The service was also excellent. They had live music with great songs and the music was not too loud over our conversations. I'd eat here again.

Victor our waiter was very attentive. Food was so delicious. Must try this place highly recommended!
