LA LOIRE EN TONNEUX

Called in here for a quick glass of wine before dinner and had a couple of glasses of Bon and tres Bon ! sadly although we returned later for a quick one on the way back we forgot to buy a bottle to take with us! The glass of Chinon red wine that we had was simply divine we wish we’d at least made a note of what it was! The lady serving is was very knowledgeable and entertaining and very quickly made one feel like family! She certainly knows her onions ... or should I say wines.

Awesome wines tasted of the Loire Region. Pinot Gris was outstanding. Sauvignon Blanc was fresh and fruity. New bottles were opened. Wines priced € Euro 7/glass and platter € 25 to share)We had a charcuterie board with a delicious selection of salami, ham and cheese. The setting is quaint and was lovely to sit outside and see the village people go buy.

Called in here whilst staying at the campsite near Loches. The lady owner was extremely enthusiastic and knowledgeable about her wines. great atmosphere to sit outside (blankets provided the colder evenings), We ordered a cheese board that was excellent. Called a number of times and would highly recommend.

Amazing place , best part of my holiday so far . Having had a couple of glasses of tres Bon wine I was in heaven. Loved the Chinon wine we had sadly didn’t get back to buy a bottle my biggest mistake of the holiday . Will definitely be back next year xx

you go here for un verre this is my fifth visit to Loches and when I am here I visit this place often a big recommendation from me!
