La Luna - Reservar uma mesa

In January in Marseillan, many restaurants are closed for annual hols. Our group of 8 reserved La Luna for a special birthday. Upon arrival we were greeted with the news that they had no fish, the special of the day was sold out, as were at least two of the pasta dishes. It didn't leave us with much choice. Perhaps we should have walked, but that's the wisdom of hindsight. An hour after we placed our orders from the ever-shrinking selection, a waitress came to inform us that there were only two portions of the nem starters left, would two people mind changing their orders? This was one of the few restaurant open on a Sunday evening while we were in Marseillan. It offers a reasonable choice of mainly Italian dishes. Our food was very tasty and the service was excellent. The staff were very friendly. The prices were, we felt, a little on the high side.

Ate here twice-once for lunch and once for dinner-service was efficient although I got the impression that both waitresses were under pressure and perhaps the restaurant was under staffed-pizza here was fine as was the sea food-good value for money-drinks also reasonable prices.

We had just got off a flight from Bezier and we're looking for somewhere close to our gite to feed the kids. We picked the wrong place. The staff were friendly but the food was terrible.

The food was not good, not bad. Chaotic service, two ladies without any motivation. The business seems to be too much for them. We don't recommend.
