La Marmita - Reservar uma mesa

I booked this restaurant on a wet day heading back to my job in Essex by train… I thought that looks pretty good… Good doesn’t do La Marmita justice Nick is a superb host and Simon an amazing chef. I could have eaten anything on the Menu, Nick said have the Tapas, so I did. I chose 3 but was given 4… Tomato risotto sublime and well cooked with two mini grissini… A cod fish cake superb… Roast pork, pancetta, black pudding and small cake of tasty stuffing with a delicate jus, it just gets better… Fish and chips with a pea sauce and Serrano ham have no words. Even though I saw photos and read reviews we really didn’t know what to expect from La Marmita. The element of surprise kept us guessing until our food arrived at our table. We chose the 5 savoury and 5 sweet tapas and we rated best to least between us and both came up with different dishes even though everyone was delicious. If you want something different with that little twist then try these guys! They won’t disappoint.

Had to come back again yet another fantastic evening. The food is amazing also the service, Simon never fails to deliver with the fantastic tapas he produces Nick is so attentive this attention to detail makes for a great evening. Thanks guys we will definitely be back next time we’re in town also recommend to our friends family who visit

Fantastic food ,great service ,well worth a visit , will definitely be back . 9 of us hungry golfers ,host just brought us tapas ,which were surprising and tasty . We had deserts which were superb
