La Michoacana - Reservar uma mesa

I started coming here 24 years ago when they were in a truck on that property, LOVED it! I did not like Mexican food that much prior after eating the quesadilla pastor with their semi hot, yet FABULOUS salsa verde; I was HOOKED! Moved to Denver, CO for about 11 years, tried a LOT of trucks, mom pop places that were decent, yet NOT ONE compared to this, no one could make their salsa verde!! You don't go here for the atmosphere, entertainment, or service. You go to La Michoacana for some salt-of-the-earth Mexican food and strong AF margaritas for dirt cheap. This heavenly hole in the wall serves salsa that makes me believe in love again. It's like the perfect mate: kinda chunky, has flavor, balanced, and plenty of spice. Ask for extra cilantro if you know what's good. Order the chile relleno to prove it. Watch out for the runny refried beans and under-seasoned taco meat, but just order two margs, and you won't even give a damn.

I try to eat here, but customer service is hit or miss!! Food has been bad only once. However, why have a drive through if you won't answer? Why take to go orders if they aren't labeled or prepared? They told me 10 mins. I drive over on my lunch break 20 mins laters. No one answers the window or the phone. I ended up at Hardee's. Don't know if the sometimes poor customer service is a reason to not go, but definitely need patience.
