This was our favourite restaurant, great food, great service and a lovely welcome! So excited to go back. One year later.,… sadly all change, granted we didn’t book but they managed to squeeze 2 of us in, we ordered lasagna, bolognaise pasta and a goats cheese salad. The food arrived within 10 mins was luke warm, apart from the goats cheese which was a cold solid mass. I really am gutted because we adored this restaurant and we thought this was the first of many visits! How can anyone get pasta wrong? Anyway they kindly knocked €1:70 off the bill and apologised…… honestly avoid at all costs. Positive comment! The Sauvignon blanc was nice!
Ouch, regular happy customer, but this was clearly the first bad experience. Very slow service, mediocre food (dry and overcooked pasta, very dry lasagne, although good pizza), and a loooong waiting time for both menus, drink menus, deliveries, food, and drinks that never came etc. Would like to visit again, but please revert to the good standards you’ve had before, with sufficient manning. Not good enough.
We have visited every two years for the last six years. Always wonderful Italian food with a lovely atmosphere. Our youngest granddaughter was offered a selection of gluten free options so everyone was catered for. Cande, our waitress for this evening was so friendly and helpful. She made everyone feel at home speaking very good English too.
This restaurant has a cosy atmosphere and very friendly staff. Our waitress, Cande, was super nice and treated us with curtesy and always had a big smile on her face. The food was tasty and there were a lot of options for everyone to enjoy. I would definitely go here again.
