la pause gourmande

We were on the road coming back from Stuttgart and wanted to eat there for lunch after reading the reviews so we called to book a table but they said it was not possible because already full. We still ended stopping there just in case 30 mns later and they had one little table left so we ended up eating there and it was quite good. A very nice price quality ratio eventhough the choices are a bit limited and not really vegetarian friendly. Service was quite fast eventhough they told us it would be slow. These two ladies were doing quite a good and efficient work that's for sure. You should go there if you have the opportunity...

This is a small family-run bistro, be sure to book ahead. Service is very friendly, they made us taste the wine to be sure we order something we like, and they brought some extra Compté with the cheese. I cannot judge on their English, but they have an English menu. Portions are generous and the meat is cooked to order. The menu gourmand is good value, recommended!

A great traditional restaurant, best to book as it does fill up and with good reason. A tempting range of formule and a la carte menus to choose from along with a great value menu du jour at 16 euros for three couses with choice of entree, mains and desserts. Service is prompt, friendly and efficient. Make this a definite place to visit. Highly recommended.

Real French restaurant with authentic upscaled French food. Be aware very fish oriented. Great service and very friendly. Very good value for money. 65 Euro including Aperatif and Wine is not too much. Real recommendation ! Gives you kind of living room feeling as not very large place.
