La Penca Azul - Reservar uma mesa

The place is a great place. Easy, nice. The service is good. Some waiters are better than others in customer service. All kind. The food is not bad, but it is very seasoned. More than they need. Plates are huge so you can share. They are pet-friendly. They have tables outside. The price is between 20-30 if you share and do not drink. It's 30-50 if you drink tequilas.

Love this place. Have visited several times, had a different dish each time and everyone was just as good as the last. The margaritas are amazing. Even the house Margarita. We had a group of four, I and a friend, and only I and the service is big, no matter how big the party is. Not past this place.

Every time we fly to Oakland, we go to La Penca Azul. By far the best Mexican food in the area of Alameda. It's a little loud, but I don't have to put up my hearing aids so badly. Has a few areas for larger groups. Good servers that are friendly. They're not trying to push you out.

Incredible taco bar! Loved the fresh tortillas and the toppings. I tried the vegan tacos. 5 stars and will come back for sure!!

Everything with the Tequila cream sauce is delicious. Very friendly staff.
