La Reine Hortense - Reservar uma mesa

This little bar restaurant sitting high above Cauterets is best walked to. You will enjoy the walk and lunch/dinner. The long summer evenings mean you can safely walk down the unlit single track road at 09pm. The food is local, simple and well prepared. Lamb and beef are excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The one toilet is a shocker and needs a full renovation!

This restaurant is off the beaten track but worth the effort to get there, very French and delicious. The food is cooked on an open fire. A couple of the evenings we have spent here in the company of singing locals...great fun!

a murder! for lovers of good meat, charceteries and local dishes! dishes are hearty but especially delicious. in a warm atmosphere with a boss who gives the fish! mandatory passage for those who go to the cauteret!

A fabulous experience!! The view is amazing, the food is typically french, local and delicious. The welcome is friendly. It is a long walk up or a off road drive. Either is well worth it!!
