La Renaissance - Reservar uma mesa

I booked this restaurant by email. I do speak some French but on arrival we were met by some of the team who speak very good English too. We chose the 5 course tasting menu. We then had drinks outside with some tasty morsels to accompany our drinks. We then entered the dining room where 3 of us had the 5 course tasting menu and 1 had the 5 course vegetarian menu. The restaurant did a great job mirroring the menus for our vegetarian and she was thrilled by the flair the chef had shown with the quality of the dishes as well as the presentation. Our meal was absolutely wonderful. In truth, it was quite possibly one of our best ever restaurant meals. I highly recommend it. The whole experience, meal, restaurant and staff, was a delight. Alas, as we're we're only passing through Argentan, we were very time limited, with only a hour and a half for lunch, so unfortunately weren't able to savour a full meal at this restaurant. We had two courses, main meal and dessert plus numerous amuse bouche and pre desserts which were lovely. All staff were extremely efficient, attentive and friendly (and, thankfully for us, also spoke English).
