La Ripaille - Reservar uma mesa

we visited ende april la plancha and received a wonderful meal, well presented and delicious. we had the set menu which was very good price was about € 17.00 for 3 courses. more general starter of mixed sausages and pasted, beautifully presented grilled chicken pieces served on a spit between two wooden uprisings, with accompanying salad and pommes. after that we had the rice pudding delicious! a nice red wine accompanied our meal and we ended with a few calvados. all in all a very pleasant introduction experience to Arromanches-les-Bains. well recommended, do not miss!

We made a reservation by mail for dinner on May 31 at 19.00 pm. The mail was confirmed and we received a mail on the 31st, not to forget our reservation. When we got to la Plancha the restaurant was closed!!! Ont the door was written that it would be re open on Thursday! Wat a shame! No reason whatsoever ! They not even tried to contact us…

Quite disappointing. Many of the main courses were not available and the kebab and burgers we ended up ordering were not very good and we ended up leaving most of it. It is also in a very uncharming location. A very short walk towards the beach gives you far better location and food options.

We chose from the menu of the day at 18.90 euro, our daughter chose the steak skewer (can't remember what it was called but it was excellent). Situated just off main street but worth seeking out. Host was friendly and spoke good English

excellent cuisine (the meat of the kebab plate is top) and warm welcome. We'll be back with pleasure.
