La Rose des Sables

Myself and hubby had a nice meal in La Rose des Sables. He is vegetarian so we were delighted to find a restaurant that could cater for him. We each had tajine, veggie for him, chicken for me and both were good. We had a half bottle of wine and two coffees for only €33 which was great value. Nice family run place.

This restaurant is just great, and has some really delicious vegetarian options which are hard to come by in Normandy. The vegetarian tagine was fabulous, beautifully aromatic vegetables with side dishes of chickpeas and succulent dried fruits. The decor is lovely too!

A healthy sized tajine with couscous and friendly staff. No wonder you could hardly get a place during the jazz festival.
