What a great local restaurant in the beautiful La Esperanza area! The locale is very clean, spacious and inviting. The servers were very personable and efficient. Came in to celebrate our friends birthday. We ordered local red wine and a few beers. As an appetizer we had garbanzos in sauce and cheese with marmalade and bread. Delicious. We then ordered three huge T-bone Steaks (Chuleton de Buey) with French Fries. They made me think of the Flintstones by their size. Tender, juicy and delicious!! I can't believe the 5 of us ate them all! We ended this great meal with ice cream, local quesillo with whipped cream and coffee flan. authentic place. Do not expect to find design or modernity. A traditional restaurant with attentive service and very good food at a very reasonable price. We ate some excellent shrimp and roast chicken, which is not a complex dish to prepare, but there are few places where you can taste chicken as tender, well-done and fresh as at La Sardinera. Totally recommended.
