La Semillante - Reservar uma mesa

As far as the location it is very nice, clean and neat. When we asked for the menu, the waiter did not bring us one but insisted on telling us the menu verbally in French speaking fast although we asked him to speak slowly and was not clear with his explanations. Finally we ended up just choosing an appetizer which sounded good...but boy were we wrong! When he brought us our plates we could not decipher what it was since it was some sort of mashed fish mixed with diced apples and a layer of tuna with some strange spices covered with red endive leaves topped with balsamic vinaigrette. It looked like leftovers mashed together and did not taste good at all. To sum it up, it was terrible as well...

Our first encounter with the restaurants of Bonifacio was not a good one. The staff out front promoted their set menu which seemed reasonable €22 for glass wine, main course and dessert. Once ordered we sat there waiting for our wine for over 10-15 minutes, then it arrived with main course. 3 of us choose steak which could have been horse meat it was as tough as shoe leather. Staff could not be more disinterested in serving or checking on us than people passing by on the street. Dessert was fine but attitude and general food will sink with the ships namesake.

we went there for a dinner, menu at € 29,water not included, the only positive note was the salmon tartare. Fish wok (with non-existent fish) was tasteless, maybe it is better in chinese all-you-can-eat. Sweets was disgusting, didn't finished it because nauseating, packaged chocolate muffin and spray cream founded at supermarket. Do not waste money here. ITALIANS DO IT BETTER

The waiter spoke some english and was friendly. We ordered some mussels and they were good but the cheese sauce dod not quite fit the food. Overall good dinner.

Given how difficult it is to find vegetarian food in France it was good to find somewhere offering a vegan option. The roast parsnips were delicious.
