La Sopa Boba - Reservar uma mesa

My meeting was delayed and I scrambled to find any restaurant close to the Montessori school in Alpedrete. What a nice surprise to find innovative and delicately prepared haute cuisine in a mountain town. It would be worthwhile to make the trip from Madrid just...for the food. The textures, colors and ingredients were all noteworthy. Truly an explosion of flavors. Many extras were offered, an amuse-bouche of a bright green sphere filled with liquid that bursts in your mouth. Scallops wrapped in crispy pancetta. Lots of techniques used here, nothing traditional. My main course was a really juicy grilled tuna with quinoa. Not huge portions and very reasonable prices. I didn't order dessert but...

had the taste menu and it was a wonderful surprise. in an opposite, in restaurants offer quite the same type of farewell, although very good, this place stands out as something else. that is also the decoration. the dishes are imaginative and...different modern food and taste combinations, flavored, sauces. they also have their own beer and red wine, both of which were pretty good. not the cheapest, but also not too expensive. all in all, very happy.

Lunch on Sunday. Restaurant setting kind of original. Food mediocre. Two entries and two main plates, no one good enough to reach an average evaluation. Combinations of ingredient, which are supposed to be original, are just wrong and sad. One plate, oyster filet with blackberries...cream was barely eatable, totally wrong combination of flavours. The rest just a little better. Other than wrongly combined, ingredients are of low quality.

If a very close friend ask me for my best secret restaurant, I would'n recommend any other than this. I'm even feeling guilty to tell you this here, because I personally know that in a very few time to come this restaurant is going to...be so famous that I won't afford it! Creativity in the design of dishes, personal treat, flavours and personality are the signature of this place. You cannot miss it. Fantastic!

One of the most innovative and creative restaurants in La Sierra. Food is really surprising and the price is very reasonable The staff is nice and friendly I highly recomend it for a special night
