we discovered this address quickly without too much reading previous notices. the welcome is pleasant, our spacious room gave on the sancy puy and thus a very beautiful view. The location of the hotel is outside the golden mountain, it is a plus and a less depending on the periods: in winter it can be nice with the proximity of the slopes, at other times you have to take a vehicle to get to the village. We came back to this restaurant that I discovered 39 years earlier and I could never forget. Of course, many things have changed since but last night I found the magic of the 1978 puy ferrand. an excellent meal, a high service and anything that can make you remember a restaurant after so many years. One regret if one should be found, the disappearance of the flagship dessert of the time: the puy ferrand crepes that were unavoidable and whose magic of the realization at the table by the hotel master of the time was a Michelin star. residing at the hotel of puy ferrand in half board, we were able to test this restaurant that offers simple but rich cuisine in quantity and calories. not too many choices not to spare but lack of vegetable trims (frites or potatoes with practically all dishes!) very friendly reception, fast service, quite reasonable price and wine (auvergne'scot) is very good.

the staff is pleasant smiling and listening. We were in the hotel. We went there on Saturday night. We've had a lot of fun. The truffle is copyy and excellent. have to do if you are housed at the hotel the puy ferrant.
