La Table des Merville

Thierry and Claudie have run this excellent restaurant for 18 years and have perfected the art of great regional cuisine, warm hospitality and authentic atmosphere. Thierry was been awarded World’s best Cassoulet in 2019 and you have to absolutely try it. Unlike other Michelin starred restaurants they kept prices at a very friendly level. The rest of the menu expresses a level of creativity mixed with genuine taste of French traditional cuisine that creates surprise and delight. Definitely a place to discover and come back to.

Ate there just before Christmas. The food was delightful. Had food that probably wouldn’t eat elsewhere (pigeon, Jerusalem artichokes, etc) or food that never tasted as good as there (rabbit). Each course was a piece of artwork, the portions were generous and we were glad to finish it all. Good wine selection, particularly the wines served with desserts and cheese, and BTW the desserts were among the best we had in a looong time... Excellent place and highly recommend if you are visiting the region.

We had a great time, impeccable service and great dishes in a beautiful authentic yet colorful and peaceful environment, Thierry took us for a tour of its property including old mansion hotel, pool, terrain de pétanque and vegetable garden source of his cuisine. We’ll be back soon!

We found this restaurant as recommended by our B&B hosts and we were very happy with it! A bit expensive and with very limited choices for children, but with an interesting open kitchen area and great food and desserts, and very profesional service!

Very good restaurant. Not chic but very good food, modern cuisine, nice people, decent prices. It is in a small town, south of Toulouse. Quiet.
