La Table Du Campagnard

This restaurant is situated just inside the Herbelon campground, close to Treffort. The inside was renovated in winter 2020 and it has a large and pleasant outdoor seating area, looking onto the campground and Lake Monteynard just beyond. Fortunately there are plenty of broad parasols to provide shade when necessary. The setting is very attractive on a sunny day. The food was OK, but in some cases not much more. For example, the steak and chips was just that, without any other vegetables. The starter salad was very good and copious though, and the desserts were impressive both in their quantity and generous portions. The Mojitos were not very good, but the half bottle of Saint Nicholas Loire...

We went to have a dinner here and didn't expect to find such a place at a campsite. Very friendly staff and delicious food. Good tasting froglegs, a very tasty tajin lamb stew and the biggest macaron i have ever seen. Sad to know it is closed tomorrow and we have to find another place

If I could add a 6th star, I'll put it. My tender wife made me discover your charming restaurant, we come sometimes and when we are there, we are conquered. thank you thomas and marry the rocca
