La Table Lauriston

We went to this bistro on our last night in Paris at the recommendation of our concierge. It was fantastic! The decor is done with soft lighting, but not too dim to where you can't see your menu. The service is very intimate, as the place is small, and from what I saw it is just a family who runs the restaurant- a mother and son in the front, and the father is the chef in the back. My concierge pointed out that the chef is always in the kitchen here- so you know you are always getting the best meal here. The chef even came out and greeted the tables at the end of the evening. Small restaurant with very friendly, professional and informal service. The food was excellent, the sole in lemon butter prepared as it should. Not the cheapest option but good quality comes at a price. Recommended for a dinner for two
