WORST RESTAURANT IN SAINT JEAN DE LUZ It’s very disappointing that they make you waiting for an hour . We have order the menu they have and they told us that is normal to wait one hour to have the first plate when people that came after us got the same plate right before. If you are full, you don’t welcome more people. Definitely I would not recommend it. It’s disgusting the bossiness of their employees. If you are thinking of going, rethink it because you are going to regret it.

Friendly service and a lovely meal. The soups de poisson was excellent and came with the usual trimmings. My squid was tender and my wife’s goats cheese in a crisp but light honey coated batter salad with local ham was well balanced. Due to being in a prime tourist position we had no great expectations and so we’re delighted with the experience.

We waited 40 minutes for our starter which was stuffed peppers which were very nice. We then had another wait of 30 minutes for our main course, my wife had loin of pork and I had fish, both of which were nicely cooked. We then had a further 15 minute wait for our desserts. Good food but extremely slow service when the restaurant is full.

Service was good, very nice lady, however the good was just near OK… nothing special unfortunately. Sardines quite poor, meat neutral to OK, the salad with cheese was good.

Friendly atmosphere and really delicious food. Local cuisine including basque specialities. Both the hake and sardines were great. Would wholeheartedly recommend
