La Trattoria - Reservar uma mesa

fantastic food. with not many places in saintes on a Sunday la trattoria was very welcoming. we were looking for traditional French food on our one night visit, so we thought we had to settle for pizza, but we were surprised to find our appetizers...and desserts were amazing....local charentais melone and bayonne schinking to begin and mousse au chocolat were amazing! the pizza was also fantastic. freshly baked, great ingredients and very tasty. the waitress could not do enough to help. she spoke a little English and tried really hard. the chief, and provided the owner was very friendly and helpful. the next day the left pizza has eaten for lunch! would highly recommend!

We went here for pizza on a house-hunting trip to Saintes. The service was extremely efficient and friendly, the choice of pizzas very good (though I prefer a thinner base), but the highlight had to be the music! Old standards and jazz: just at the...right level. We had good Italian wine, delicious desserts and found ourselves happily singing along! I don't often tip as it isn't a French habit, but I went overboard this time as I felt the service and music had made our evening one to remember.

one of the most beautiful meals this trip to france! eating is brilliant we, family of elders and teenagers had a series of pizza, but some of the best we ever have! smoked salmon on a pizza? yes, please! calzone, with an egg?...Delicious coffee gourmond? the best of all time! rehearsals of puddings were excellent! big smiles and full teemies around! the personal could not be better, and as poor French speaking family did that she spoke great English also helped!

despite the restaurant that said at the doorstep, it closes at 15 o'clock to lunch, they would only offer us pizza at 15.00 o'clock, they were closed for everything else. When the pizza arrived, it was uncooked on the tip, as its speciality is pizza, this was very...Disappointing, the quality was bad.

they're filthy. with a combination of taste and presentation, a very exquisite art, something sweet to enjoy while in the relaxing atmosphere
