La vielle auberge - Reservar uma mesa

Spent the day on the Ile de Brehat and found this restaurant on a side street. Many families were also enjoying lunch there. We ordered a salad and Moules a la creme. The moules were served with a wonderful very light cream sauce that was out of this world. We could not eat all the mussels we were served but they were a treat! Waitress was helpful and efficient. Lots of energy from here to explore the island.

Went to island just for lunch.There were five of us,two had the fresh tuna one had fresh cod and the other had burger.Me I had the best mussels I have ever had in cream sauce OMG big and plump just as good as the one’s I had earlier in year but that time I just had mussels and they were good the glass oh red I had was very good.Puds were great.Can not wait to have more.

Managed to beat the hordes off the ferry and get a table for two in an already busy restaurant! Ordered the steak and chips for each of us and a bottle of cold refreshing cidre. As the place was busy with the four staff rushing about to serve people it took a little while for the meals to arrive but was great when it did. Well worth a visit if you beat the hordes!

We had a lovely lunch at la vielle auberge. Easy to find just before main square. Option to eat on one of two outdoor terraces or indoor. Musseles and fries were very good as was the Breton beers we enjoyed. Service was friendly and quick.

Popped in for a drink and a pastry. Was served the most amazing apple pie in the shape of a rose with Breton caramel. Spectacular . Sat outside in the private courtyard.
